modest mouse is by far my favorite band right now there music is awsome not so much there new stuff (still pretty good) but there old stuff blows my mind.

i mean do you know how many cds they have???? tons! and TONS!

isack brocks lyrical style is sublime (and its not ugly casanovas songs isak brock admited to being ugly casanova) .

so i was just wondering if anyone was as big of a modest mouse fan as i was,
if your not you should realy check um out.

i was a pretty big fan a while ago...but either i got tired of their music, or their new found fame, but i really dont listen to them a whole lot anymore. I really enjoy "the moon & antartica", still one of my most favorite albums, and the rest is alright to, but i dont really listen to them anymore

They are still not huge in NZ (i.e. not overexposed), which does make it easier to like them. I wouldn't say they are my utmost favourite band but they are still quite great.

They are a bit too popular now for my liking but that doesnt really take away from their unique sound and I do enjoy Modest Mouse very much.

    i like them.
i saw them twice, and they're ok live, but i think sometimes too drunk to play well. but it was a fun show both times.
'the moon and antarctica' is a great album, and so is 'lonesome crowded west'.

i wish i'd known about them sooner.
    peace.

I saw them at Bonnaroo this last time, and they were pretty good. I can dig them a little bit.

The Moon is amazing... Good News if phenomenal, thier older stuff does not intrigue me as much, but it is rather good.

theyve been a favorite of mine for quite some time. ive got all of their albums. my favorites are a toss up between sss and lcw. ive seen them play a couple of times, and i and im not a huge fan of their live stuff. they are one of the only bands that i prefer listenening to their recorded stuff.
