This place seems awsome! It perfectly fits my needs. you see i have a definite intrest in world politics / world order and i often find it hard to discuss these things with my RL friends who doesnt even watch the news half of them. jepp.. so im new here if you didnt get that ... slacker swede in my early 20's havnt found my way yet. gon' pick up some studies soon i guess.. speaking of education, i took a class (of one full term) in human geography a couple of years ago an while it felt too serious for me at the time to stay with it, it still opened my eyes up quite a bit when it comes to poverty and world order. main reason i actually looked up this place was this idea i had about consument organization on large scale making the world a better place.. so i started a thread on that in the globalization forum; http://hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=128926 that is all i guess. peace, out.
Hey Todie, "Velkommen til dette flotte forumet," from me too! I’m full-blooded Norwegian 4th generation here in Minnesota. Generally, folks on the Forum don’t open unverified links. I hope you understand this, it isn’t personal, just good to be safe? I’m glad you found us and yeah, you’ll find some kindred souls here. Let me extend the welcome mat. I recently found "The Hip Forums" myself and I know what it’s like to be a newcomer. You don’t really know what to say or how to act. Read some of the threads so you can get the gist of what topics are being discussed. When you feel comfortable jump right in and get your feet wet. Nobody here is going to "Flame" you, that just isn’t tolerated here (unless it’s necessary) lol. We get some assholes here who just want to stir up bad vibes... From what I’ve found so far is that we are one big family with many brothers and sisters. Once again the doors open come on in, open up your heart and mind, put on some groovy tunes, kick back and stay awhile. Peace, Love & Great Big Hugs, DDR Quote: Frank Zappa "On a personal level, Freaking Out is a process whereby an Individual casts off outmoded and restricting standards of Thinking, dress, and social etiquette in order to express Creatively his relationship to his immediate environment and The social structure as a whole."
