Hey T....welcome to HF. I have a friend named Tammy and I also call her 'T'. I wonder if all Tammys have the moniker T?

    Thanks for the welcome:
I have known a few Tammy's in my life and they also were called "T".
I used to have a few friends that always called me T-Bird?
I have only known 1 to spell it as I do.
(On a side note) It makes me chuckle when people express a desire for there child to be different then others, and to do this they change the spelling of a common name.
Guess what? Tammie or Tammy or Tami, we are still Tammi's.

I wonder what delightful person came up with the idea of shortening peoples names? Even a bigger question, where did they come up with some of these short versions?
Richard = Dick or William = Bill.

Ok, I am done now. Have a good one!

Howdy-Do-To-You-Too, Tammie the Goodwitch13....Yeah, being Laid-Back, Open-Minded, Kind-Hearted, City-Hating and an Open-Land-Loving-Person, you're all right by me....Camping, Road-Trips, Reading, BBQ, Friends, Sunsets and Let's not forget, Sun-Rises, that’s another quality we both share... As far as staying Sane, Where does Sanity end and Insanity begin? I always like to keep people guessing, being a little Bent, Twisted or Down-Right-Loony-Toons, is a quality I admire in myself. You sound like my kind of people, so happy you finally found us. Where were you for so long? A Dick by any other name is still a Dick, right?

As for Bill or Willy or Will or Billy or for that matter even Fred, (now that's a horse of different color). In and of it's self, isn't a Bill found on a ducks head,
and if I said something nice about your body, would you hold it against me?

Any Way, On With The Show!!

Let me extend the welcome mat. I recently found "The Hip Forums" myself and I know what it’s like to be a newcomer. You don’t really know what to say or how to act. Read some of the threads so you can get the gist of what topics are being discussed. When you feel comfortable jump right in and get your feet wet. Nobody here is going to "Flame" you, that just isn’t tolerated here (unless it’s necessary) lol. We get some assholes here who just want to stir up bad vibes... From what I’ve found so far is that we are one big family with many brothers and sisters. Once again the doors open come on in, open up your heart and mind, put on some groovy tunes, kick back and stay awhile. Peace, Love & Great Big Hugs, DDR

"The more, 'BORING' a child is, the more the parents, when showing off the child, receive adulation for being, ‘GOOD PARENTS,’ because they have a ‘TAME-CHILD-CREATURE’ in their house. The worst aspect of ‘typical familyism’ (as media-merchandised), is that it
‘glorifies – involuntary - homogenization.’" Happy Posting.
