Hi, I have a very fabulantastic random thought to ponder about.
In our dimension mammals evolved to the most intelligent animal; homo erectus alias humans.

Now let us imagine that reptiles or birds instead of mammals evolved to the most intelligent animal.
How would they and how would the Earth look like today in your wonderful opinion?

 

well, if you believe mammals evolved from birds, who evolved from reptiles, then technically, thats the way it is now. or, did birds evolve from mammals? i dont know, either way.

 

I meant the "final" stages of the evolution; what if dinosaurs or crocodiles for example evolved into very intelligent animals before humans did?

 

ah, yes, that is an interesting thought. it makes me think of that tv show that used to come on, Land of the Lost, with the dinosaurs who walk like humans and speak and all.
