i'm getting a drug test (not probation) for some bulls*** reason. Probably the 16th of this month. that means in 10 days. I am 5'8 215 pounds (yes i'm overweight). The test is a 10 panel test. I am clean except for opiates, particularly meperidine (demerol). What they do is you pee in the cup and if there are the two bars they send it off to a lab. Now i'm not certain but i do believe that the opiates tested in those dipsticks (including the lab) check for opiates meaning opium, morphine, codeine, and heroin. Rumor has it that they also check for hydrocodone and hydromorhpone (not worried about that). Here's the thing, my parents expected me to be off demerol months ago. I am planning to take it tomorrow (which will be a lot of fun) but i'm just want to make sure i'm fine. now according to the internet the first four i mentioned are natural opiates and hydrocodone and hydromorphone are semi-synthetic opiates. Meperidine is pure synthetic. But anyway, if it shows up for meperidine i'm screwed. I do not plan to take any more opiates after monday. oh ya and this test is for an extracuricular college program that requires this that my parents are making me go. I am not at all going to turn it down because I want, almost as much they want, to get in it. If it turns positive my parents will find out for sure. They pay for my apartment and they will take it away in an instant. However, i really want to take them tomorrow. so anyway here are my questions 1. Will meperidine (demerol) show up on there? 2. How long does it last in your system (given my stats you think) 3. if you think it's mandatory to passing, should i buy some powdered urine? 4. being a water-soluabule drug, would drinking water help, if necessary? 5. any important information i should know 6. am i just really paranoid and trufully have nothing to worry about? dude what u need to do is stop taking everything until your test, and drink lots of water everyday before the test, just keep on drinking and pissing and you should be fine, u should really find some self control in yourself and quit until your done worrying about a test
go get two packets of pectin, mix it with a quart of water and chug it.. after you pee a couple times it should come up clean (the pectin like temporarily freezes your kidneys/liver/etc.).
i appreciate the advice in all but wtf? opiates stay in your system at most 3 days unlike thc. and meperidine specifically lasts for up to 24 hours! i will have 10 DAYS to get it out. and furthermore, i'm taking a basic 10panel dipstick that checks for opiates, but only codeine, morphine, heroin, and opium. since meperidine does not break down into any of these it will not show up
