I just went hunting today and they look like pics of liberty caps i saw on erowid but i'm not sure if they're the right kind. Is there any way of testing this besides eating them?
well unless you or someone you know is an expert picker, or someone you kno could certainly ID them, i'd probably just ditch em, i wouldnl't wanna eat non-psychedelic mushrooms, im pretty sure they can kill you, so i don't think it's worth it at all
I have a friend that can tell me and if not him then his mom can I just figured I'd check first. I picked em in a cow pasture. Got about an eighth i think.
they don't grow from or in cow shit, but some grow next to them or by them, and i don't think just because there around cow shit means there good for a psychedelic experience, they could still be poisonous, but if you wanna eat them go for it, let me know if you live by the way
definately not a good idea to eat any mushrooms you find simply based on wat they look like and if there near cowshit. do you know how many millions of types of fungus grow in a cow pasture chances are wat u got wont do anything to u. however eating them without proper identification is like spinning the wheel and hoping it lands on psychadelic instead of death. too risky of a chance. do some research first take a spore print and examine the mushroom very closely there are way to many lookalikes to just take a chance. know wat your eating basically
