Well, I've got this awful cough, and a nasty case of insomnia to go with it. Thankfully I quit smoking cigarettes two days ago.. I wish I could come up with a way to get the coughing to subside.. (No cough medicine and no money!) Anyone have any ideas?
heres a home made thing, dont know if you already have the ingredients.. 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger 1 Tablespoon honey 1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar 2 Tablespoons water Mix and take by the teaspoon.
You can make a cup o' tea. use about 1/2 a lemon squeezed into your glass, 2-3 tablespoons of honey (More or less to taste) and a pinch of cayenne pepper to flush out the mucus. You probablygot sick because you quit smoking. It does something to you immune system. It happened to me too, and a few other people I know. It will pass.
