are you kidding? really big coffee from dunkin' donuts, a quiet apartment, open window and some good music on the stereo - you couldn't pay me to get to bed before 3. of course, i'm a night person anyway, & was an art major, so "studying" usually meant some fun design project or painting. gods, i miss that "studio smell"...
I would always force myself to stay up...and then eventually, I reached this point where I wasn't tired anymore. That's what happened when I went to Bonnaroo... I'd been up since 7:30, and I got so tired around midnight that I though I would die. I felt like that for about three hours, and then it was like the feeling just went away. I was actually up until 11 pm, without taking anything to stay awake or any naps, and I never felt tired. It was weird. So, supress it!
I don't do anything special, I just do it. If I am really really tired though, I won't stay up because it is pointless to study if you are too tired to concentrate and you probably won't remember anything you studied anyway.
^^^^i've got the quiet apartment, music going, and open window, but i'm not an art major and these intensive summer classes are really starting to take its toll...doing something artsy does sound nice right about now...
well, its gotten me further than you could know. are you in a postion to make at least $25 an hour yet?
i went back to studying and thinking about what u(kitty fabulous) said, and maybe i should consider taking an art class as a fine arts credit b/c that does sound really nice...*sigh* but for now, back to studying the books
go to sleep and set your alarm for and hour and a half earlier than usual.....study then, you're more likely to to remember it *shrugs* that's what I do
It helps me to just write it down. Once helps, it's even better if you can do it repeatedly. That was always the perfect way for me to remember stuff for tests or plays or whatever. Even if you only write down little key things.... just write them down.
