    Has anyone read?

I'm about half way through. Very informative book... I learned a lot about the history of medicine in the U.S., Europe and elsewhere.... as well as a lot of general history.

The book is basically about the greatest plague/pandemic ever in history, which was the 1918 influenza virus which has killed more people worldwide then "the plague" and killed more people world wide in 24 weeks then AIDS killed in 24 years.

Started in KS... and spread during the war mostly because of cramped military bases.... very good book.....
