Getting the Resin Out of Your Pipe!

This is basically the way I do it for my bowl & stem and my pipes.

You will need : A bottle of 99% Isopropanol, a flat surface (something that doesn't melt), a lighter, and a razor blade (I use the ones from pencil sharpeners but they don't work as good as bendy ones.) and a paper towel.

First, make sure the filter is out. It doesn't really matter, but it makes the whole process easier to do. Rip a little piece of paper towel off and stuff it in one of the ends of your pipe (I use the mouthpiece because it stays better) BUT MAKE SURE YOU CAN GET IT OUT WHEN YOU'RE DONE! Then, pour some isopropanol into the bowl (the end that doesnt have the paper towel in it) and let that sit for about 5 minutes. Then, pour out the isopropanol into the flat surface (don't make some huge pool of it, or you'll blow it up.) Then, light the isopropanol that is on the flat surface but watch out cuz it's really fuckin flammable. When it burns itself out, you should be left with a brown goo on the plate. Scrape it off with a razor. Now you have the rez, but it's more pure than when it was in your pipe (I think.)

If your pipe is really gunky, then you'll need to do the whole process a few times.

99% Isopropanol is really easy to find in a pharmacy, I get it for about $2.50 for a large bottle.

Ive never done this before, burning the alc to smoke the resin. I usually scrape the gooey resin in the male stem right behind the bowl on my bong, then alc + sea salt the rest and not save it. Well I just used your method since I have no smoke and felt like smoking. And I am stoned. This makes me happy.
