Does anyone have a song that they could listen to on constant repeat without getting bored? :p

I used to have loads as a kid. I remember having two tapes...one had Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now" in the middle, and the other I'm too embarrassed to say what it was, which was on the beginning of the other tape. I'd listen to them both, then hit rewind on both (good old dual cassette decks). When one tape reached the very beginning and stopped rewinding, I knew to stop the other tape.

Not only did I like the two songs, but getting up to do this every ten minutes or so was a good way to do less school homework. :p

I'm currently listening to "The Chapter Of Your Life Entitled San Fransico" by The Lucksmiths. I seem to put this particular song on in the morning before work, in the evning after work, on the weekend, nearly all the time. It's one of those songs where the more you listen to it, the more you notice certain things in the background. Little guitar bits that you can only hear at the right volume, how well constructed some part of the melody is, things like that. It compells me to listen again to catch it in full detail, and to see if I can hear any more bits like that. So for the fourth time this morning, it's on my playlist.

Cheers Zeitgeist, now I'll never get any work done :p

I have quite a few songs like that.. but most of them are embarrasing cheesy ones so I shan't say what they are..
Watch out though.. I've ruined many a good song by listening to it over and over...

I can't really do that often... Even with my favourite songs it tends to get irritating having them play over and over..

Fixin to Die Rag by Country, a couple Dylan songs. I'll listen to Dead shows and full Beatles albums over and over again. Oh, and if I'm stoned I can handle a good hour and a half of one song by Ween.

That's a beautiful song, with a beautiful clip.

Mine are faux dance songs like those from Rednex (Spirit of the hawk, The way I mate) and Nomads (Yakalelo), cool songs like Zombie by The Cranberries, Etrezomp-ni Kelted by Omnia, My cold sea by Arcana, and when I'm feeling down also the suicidally depressive 25-minute song Still-motion by funeral doom metal band Shape of Despair, or the similarly mournful Sear me III by My Dying Bride.

Its been a while since i have heard anything worthy enough for that... when i first heard 'Rock music' by the Pixies i put it on repeat for about a month - I was a child then so I guess it figures... sort of

Now that I think about it... I believe the last time I had a single song on 'constant repeat' was many years ago when i first taped a copy of My Bloody Valentine's 'You Made Me Realise' - I now only hear it on the odd occasion every few years or so - but it still sounds sublime to me when i do :)
