I'm a lot happier after reading that. I guess the fat bowl of kief I smoked 10 minutes ago might've contributed. And I guess that might be a true statement...
I would bet that a majority of smokers are worried a lot more about getting caught, buying pot, paying people back, and all of the other shit that goes along with it. and even though there are a lot of chill smokers, there are probably equally as many criminal-like smokers
I agree with colours I'm ALWAYS in a good mood, unless I'm tired...and even then I'm never angry or anything...I'm always positive, even when tired. Ask any of my teachers...the problem is my good mood gets me into trouble a lot because I like to joke around a lot and such, yet still get my work done...I dunno hard to explain...I like to joke WITH teachers...but they don't liek to respond haha I wouldn't say I'm happIER...I'd just say I'm already pretty HAPPY...but I used to be in a bad mood for no reason sometimes, now I'm just either active happy, or passive happy haha
I also agree. I'm sure that the ones who have nothing else to worry about are much happier. To me it was a way to focus. It seems like I'm a better person if I smoke every once in a while.
fuck yes were happier. the key to being miserable is caring too much about shit that doesnt matter. after i started smoking pot, i now dont give a shit anymore. i am able to focus more on the things that are really important to me and i love it
Getting stoned releases my inner happiness, when im at work or around people, im normaly not the happy guy.
joejoe take some excedrin and take a nap, hope u feel better... : / about the main question, marijuana has made me a much happier person, and i am no longer violent.
No, I wouldn't say so. Happiness is about being content in your life. Now, while you're stoned, you're pretty content, and any miscontent is usually something like needing food or water... but the measure of happiness is it's lasting power and it's depth. If it only lasts as long as your high, then you aren't happy, you're just stoned. There's a qualitative difference there, hopefully you all can appreciate it. Because, if you have to be stoned to be happy, that's not real happiness. As far as depth goes, happiness from being stoned is pretty superficial, because it depends on an outside thing, while true and lasting happiness comes from within. Of course, weed can have a major impact in how one thinks in general (stoned or not), so that could make a person happier. I can testify to that, weed dramatically altered my worldview, in effect introducing me to spirituality and just generally a more peaceful existence. But there was more to it that weed, and I don't need weed to be happy.
