there is away but systems differ and are unique in their own way you could try checking for info with google you also have pci cards for satelite tv....

Most systems use a magnetic-strip card that's programmed to tell the system which channels are available, and in some cases, even how much (on a monthly basis) one can spend on free PPV movies.

Hacked cards are referred to as "football cards" (why, I don't even know), and require the use of a card programmer (check EBay), as well as the data to unlock it (satellite BIOS? and channel info), which is downloaded from various messageboards.

The hardware isn't illegal unless found with the satellite BIOS...also, be weary that you're going to have your satellite company constantly booting you and destroying your card info, which will require you to go through the tedious process of programming it every month or so.

A friend of mine eventually had done it so much that the satellite provider blocked his receiver entirely and he had to start stealing his service from Canada, resulting in a completely lame selection of programming. Good luck.

What kind of system do you have? Just ask around, more than likely someone can find you one for about $100, which should last a good 6 months if it's your first card.

You're only 18 years old, so that would mean that you've only been capable of being legally employed for the last two years. That doesn't qualify you enough to give advice about jobs/life in my opinion. You have no way of knowing who has a job, or what their financial situtation is. Get over it.

I'm only 18, and I found that i'm smarter than most adults I met, most of which have never even stepped foot into a college. I've been watching american satelite complete with PPV for over a year with no problems.

 

ok !!?? now im even more confused than when i started!! and thanks mike appreiciate you standing for me!!! and a thanks to you also dirk!, and psilo,!! i havnt checked that addy yet! but this and some of the exploreing ive done leave me with questions like how do these sat pc cards work what kind of account needs to be established? and can my pc. and connection speed (let me even watch it(dial up)) and cali dude before you reply i am not cheap there is not a faster conn. available to me !!!!!! but i am interested in this is there a way i can uese a dish network dish with my pc and pic up somthing like shortwave stations? for tv ?

 

or even radio i tryed some kind of streaming tv site but it didnt get it for me!is it possible to watch some of this stuff with my dialup! with out going crazy?

 

Best way to go would be to find a pansat 2500a receiver or somthing similiar. Cheap and easy to set up. I'm getting all the Dish Network channels with it.
