    Echo back

    I’ve seen the dawn rise,

Clear and crisp over the tangerine line

    Up to the petal blue.

    I am alone now,

    The moment passed.

    And lost in time.

While the sun soaks the sky light,

    Illuminating all naked skin.

    And while carrying terrible tea

With the bits in the bottom.

You are not who you think you are.

All these lit curves no longer reside

They have but memory now to hide.

    And you are not there,

    No more sky.

Just the rising sun and I.

You used such great imagery! "Tangerine line" and "Petal bluel"... those were my favorite parts. Oh, and I loved the ending, too. Please keep sharing!

My fave bit was the bit you can see in the preview bit on the main forum. It went on a little long for my taste - just that first part, alone, would have been perfect. But then it is about time, so I guess it was always bound to linger.
