So, I got a letter yesterday addressed 'To The Parents of...' "Shit!" I flipped it over. 'Washington, DC' "FUCK!" I opened it. Heh, wasn't so bad. So, apparently I am invited to go to the National Youth Leadership Forums on Technology this summer in Silicon Valley, California. My teacher nominated me. She's always bee pretty cool, but I gotta say, this is really rad. I checkec out the site to see about pricing and aid and it turns out I had to have my information in for consideration by November 5th. Heh, gotta love it. BUT, I'm still considering going. What do you think? Personally, I think it's a good oppertunity to further my knowledge of computer (internet and web-building) and other technology. You see, I love web-building. As a matter of fact, the teacher that nominated me is my Web-Mastering teacher. It's funny, I know everything she's teaching in the class, so I am basically her aid. But that's ok. I got a 100 for the 6-weeks period. I also got a 100 on the 6-weeks test. Tell me what you think.
I got invited to the defense intelligence one..... I didn't respond in time to go...... in retrospect I probably should have.... it was nice paper....
It's a big "convention" (for lack of a better word) for all youth leaders in the technology field to meet up and further their learning.
