Interesting. What are proper subjects for this forum? What's the Rainbow Family about? From my POV, it's anything & everything. If I want to talk to an engineer, I'll talk to one who goes to Gatherings. If I want to talk to a Philosopher, (or someone who thinks he's one) I'll talk to one who goes to Gatherings. Rich man, poor man, beggar man, theif, doctor, lawyer, and Indian Chief, we gots 'em all. And behind my Cynicisim, I'm quite the Eliteist Bastard about my Family. We're the cream of the crop, the Last, Best Hope. (Are we fnuked, or what?) Drummin', I see your point. There's more engineers, or people who think like them, that will read that thread in the...What is it?...Environment?..forum than there will be here. The Rainbows do need to get out more, and meet the other Hippies. And if the only Rainbows you know are hippies, you need to get out more.

Do I have a point, other than the one on my bald ol' head? I'm not sure. But I haven't seen a thread moved from this forum before. Best of both worlds, yes, a good thing. But I think I brought up the subject once before of what exactly we're supposed to be dis-cussin' here. the lines between this forum, Communal Living, and Camping & Outdoor Living seem to be rather blurry...We're not an Event&Festival, but we're sometimes mentioned there...Some folks seem to think the Gathering is primarily a Protest (of an obscure USFS reg)....&c... I'm confused. But that's not an abnormal state for me...
