Cleaned out my pipes

Hey, I let my three pipes soak in some rubbing alcohol overnight, and I was wondering if I let all the alcohol evaporate, would the resin still be good to smoke? Because it's a lot of resin.

I've scraped everything out, but the paint on my clay pipe is softening, I didn't think about that. It's kinda whitish now, hopefully it won't do any permanent damage to the paint, except for maybe alittle bit of white.

 

alcohol will evaporate man, you can smoke the resin after it evaporates...I wouldn't cause I don't really like resin, but you can still do it...

 

I figured all would be ok, seeing as the alcohol would evaporate. Sometimes resin can have a big kick though. Paint is a different story though. It's starting to chip and bubble a little bit. It makes me sad, that was my first pipe. Clay, and on the bowl, there's this little bear face on it. The stem has this monkey with a spiral tail, and on the bottom is Chupaca 31. The maker, I assume.

 

ya if theres paint chips in your resin then i wouldn't smoke it.

 

No, it's just the decorative paint on the outside of the bowl. Cosmetic details, personality.

just let it sit out for a little and let the alcohol evaporate and the res is still good for smoking.

 

I've heard that there is some tar in cannabis smoke, but your body is able to break it down, unlike with tobacco.

Resin can contain valuable THC that you might be throwing away. So it's just cost effective. I don't have a job right now because I'm focusing more on college before I find another. And I just need to make some phone calls so I can buy another bag.

Tar... if u wanna compare the tar in ciggarette smoke, to "tar" in cannabis smoke, youll find not one simularity

cannabis smoke definately has tar,and i really do remember reading that the gunk in the pipe isn't resin,i will try to find that source since you doubt that I know anything
