Attempts at togetherness

    If I forgot what bleeding felt like,
    Could i presume to continue?

    If I lost notion of what air fed me,

    Would I expect more?
    If I managed to miss the quiet heartbeat sound, underneath, one morning,



    Would i still, wake and walk out into dawn?
