You know those movies..those movies about spiraling into drugs, what it's like, the graphic, intense scences, and then towards the ending the addict get's out and cleans up (or not) and it's pretty intense, them talking and it all seems so surreal..like, the movie Thirteen, Acts Of Grace..or Requiem For A dream. For some reason I really like those movies, anyone agree, or have any good recomendations that sound like that?..
drugstore cowboy which was an autobiographical account from prison, naked lunch ummm not based too much on reality that I am aware of but hey I'm not ole Will, trainspotting or anything by irvine, and ofcourse my absolute favorite are the propaganda films against drugs especially LSD ones....hilarious
My favorite is "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas"...especially the opening; it has you from the start. That movie is hilarious.
I like cheech and chong, some of their movies did suck, but I cant remember what the funny ones name was. Its one where their in the van and chong gets tricked into sniffing some soap! hi-larious.
Yeah those both movie are classic ...i saw "Trainspotting" nearly 10 years ago and sometimes it still hard to see but it still a funny movie and "Requiem for a dream" is as tragic but not as funny ...great movie too But those movie talk about a drug that uhm... a real bad bad drug...ok i'm ready to take it once in my life ...for experience (jimi told once upon a time "Are u experienced" but ok it was about acid) ...but this drug is the best one to take an highway for paradise or hell...i don't think we can choose which we want to go when we are at the doors of death...somebody maybe choose for us...glooop! But now i recommend 2 movies about a more mysterious and chamanic drug...called acid...yep Easy Ryder (69) : Ok it's a classic...not original ...but ...the great quality is here and you take a ride with the two psyché bikers. at the end there's a message...personnaly i understood the movie as a message 'bout the whole life... And look at the camera at the last shoot of the film ...it gets high...as the spirit who get out of their dead bodies...great with hash naturally Psych-Out (68) : It's not popular at all except in the flyin' high riders community of movies collection...but Nicholson play here too...this Film as something of a Movie of B category...but strangely it works...strange is the word ...this movie is in fact more psychedelic than easy rider...at less visualy..., for the whole message it's another thing. The Soundtrack is magic and it include 2 superb songs of The Seeds and The Strawberry Alarm Clock (we see both bands in the movie) I've got a lot of other drug movies in mind but time is monkey (this unpredictable time!) so i follow my own way... have a good time!
