I agree with most of what you said. I am in favor of the war but I also think we could do a much better job fighting it. But replacing snipers for heavy assault will get our asses kicked.

It's common sense. In order for snipers to work they need to be spread out in their own secluded areas. You can't pack a bunch of them into a city. You also need lots of heavy assault to distract their heavy assault so that the enemy isn't concentrated on shooting down snipers. A sniper rifle vs. and assault rifle doesn't work to well. If the majority of what the enemy doing is finding snipers all they gotta do is throw a few gernades spray a few bullets and they are golden.

First we believed that they possesed WMD's and possed a threat to our nation. Wether or not they possed a threat, we don't know. WMD's have been traced from Iraq, were they saddams? Were they to be used agains us? We don't know. There is evidence supporting both cases. Who is "we"? There were people who did believe certain things and there were others that didn’t. The evidence was not overwhelming or totally convincing, in fact the UK and US government had to manipulate what ‘evidence’ they did have to make it seem stronger than it was.
