Hydro is for faster and in a experienced hydro growers hands larger yielding method of growing then soil.Hydro will never touch the taste and pure smokability from a experienced organic soil grower.

Hydros comparison to Soil is a matter of weeks. Personally, I feel that if you don't know how to grow with a hydroponic or aeroponic system, you should start with soil. These plants require some attention, and the strains you grow might require some learning as well. The first strain I ever grew was trainwreck, it took me 2 weeks to gather up the scheduling. Simply put, hydroponics is trickier, the amount of nutrients you need to give your plant will varie depending on the grow conditions and strain. In addition, the risk of overfeeding or killing your plant runs much higher when you're not familiar with the way it grows.

It's your plant, they are your seeds. I would just hate to see them wasted (and to see your efforts wasted) by spending money on equiptment and failing your plants because of 1 small detail.

    To answer your question.

A basic bubbler could be made using a 5 gallon bucket w/ lid, a 6 inch net pot, an airpump with air stone, rockwool, and some large clay pellets. You WILL need a light.

For a fraction of the cost, you could be growing rich buds in very tastey soil. (I grow soil, I will ALWAYS grow soil, god gave it to us, who am I to neglect such a gift?)

Good luck on your future grow, dont be afraid to try new things.
