Personaly, what I tend to do, is to go to a hardware store, but some acetone. Toss some green in a jar(broken up), pour in some acetone in the jar, pour more than you think is necessary, it all evaporates away anyways. Shake it up, and let it sit. The longer you let it sit, the more efficient the extraction, but the more organic material you will bring with(More organic material = lower quality hash.) Pour all contents of the jar, through a coffee filter to another dish/jar where it should sit to evaporate. As it evaporates you can see a film of oil over the top. eventualy you will get some thick sludge. Make sure all the acetone is evaporated befor using. It wlill stop smelling like chemicals, and start smelling like weed. If you are extracting from buds, I would let them soak in acetone 2-3 times, but just regular leaves, i would only soak once.
Yea dude bubblebags are the best way. Gets you high quality shite from clippings, and a four year old could do a bubble run.
bubblebag's, lil pricey but worth every penny imho. i gave $2oo. for the 3 bag 5 gallon set. 200 gram's of leaf will yeild approx. 6-10 gram's, if you have access to good indoor cutting's . around here there is alot of "ditchweed" grow's everywhere an is of the lowest quality, but yet it will still turn out some kik butt hash takes 2wice as much to get the same yield.
Yea man if you live in an area where shit grows in the wild and it's not high quality, the fucking bags are a godsend. The bags are a god send either way, really you can take complete trash i'm talking fan leaves, moldy buds, leaves with barely any visible trichomes, and STILL get some good hash.
Yeah bubblebags are great...Though the process is a hell of a job when you use lots of water... Recently I have dried using the bubblebags, the dry way. When you don't have great quantities of trim, and time, you just shake your stuff in some jar to let the trichomes detach a bit. Then you pour that in the biggest bag, and gently agitate it a few times. You have ready to smoke , fair quality dried kief. At some point,after a while, the biggest bag will yield you a mix of trichomes and plant material. You pour the mix the in the second bag and shake shake shake...yum yellow powder! Anyway just wanted to share this quick way.
Good idea with the shaking in a catchbox, you could actually do this for like years or jhowever long it takes til you have a huge jar of finely shaken trichomes, it'd be high quality as is and if you made it into bubble it'd probably be amazing. Some friends use electric coffee grinders to break up their stuff and they breathe some hot breath into the grinder right before they grind to add a tiny bit of moisture to the sides so that when it grinds the trichomes stick to the sides better. After a while, you take a brush and brush out all the kif, trying to not take the bits of plant matter mixed in. You could make some awesome bubble this way. Also good for when your nugs are a little bit lower quality you can scrape a little kif to line the blunt with. After you brush out the trichomes you could make bubble then press it but usually you can just press it then and there and have quality hash.
