Has anyone else seen this movie. Its not my normal kind of movie but I loved it. It has Zach Braff from Scrubs and I thought he was really good in it. Anyone else have thoughts on it?
I enjoyed it. Some of the parts I liked were when Natalie Portman has just met Zach Braff and they are talking and she says that he reminds her of a retarded kid from tv or something. Then asks 'ARE you retarded?' Also when she is talking about how when she feels totally unoriginal she will just have a mini freak out and go 'blah de blah blah' and feel original again because no one has done that exact thing in that exact spot before.
There is only one situation in which I would watch that movie ever again. That flick, not the flick itself but the events surrounding the time I watched it, had a very profound, unexpected, unpleasant, but moving effect on my life. No movie has ever done what that movie did to me. It was alright though, nothing too special.
yes I love it. Natalie portman's character is such a great one. And I thought the cinematic-ness of it was great too. plus, the soundtrack is well worth listening to. all in all an awesome 1st movie.
Yeah natalie Portman's character is really gd. Aparently Zach got an award for makig the soundtrack for that film. Kinda strange when to think all he did was put some music together on a cd. Though the tracks compliment each other well but i still find it weird.
Weird maybe, but cool though. I think finding just the right soundtrack is a very hard thing to do -the song choice can make or break a moment in a film. Garden State is one where it is just perfect though.
