Is it only Americans that say Mommy? Its so fucking random! Whats your favourite word to hear people pronounce differently? I also love to hear an Irish person say 'potatoes'.
i love hearing Australians and English say alluminium. its rad. .. i say mummy.. but thats not a conscience choice.. i went to australia for awhile.. and that somehow stayed with me.. and so i just pronounce "mommy" as "mummy" now.
When at work, and I ask if someone needs help, I'll say something like "Are you finding everything alright mum?' I'm saying ma'am, but it comes out mum. I live in Colorado, but never been outside the states, so I don't know where this came from.
