Does anyone else hate Halloween as much as I do?

    Well?

Hey, I have my reasons. When I was 9, I got a 'B' on a social studies test, so my parents wouldn't let me go out for Halloween. That was a significant turning point in my life.

And as of right now, I'm at the college's library. When I drive home tonight, I have a stange feeling that I'll somehow run over a bunch of clique-y high school freshmen who forgot to put reflective tape on their costumes.

Anyway, a lot of high schoolers do it in my area. They usually drive from house to house because they're too lazy to walk. :D

You think thats bad? Try being in school in 6th grade planning on what you're gonna do that nite for Halloween with all your friends n being called to the counselors office to be told that your Grandma died a few hours earlier. Not only do you not get to go trick-or-treating later that nite with your friends cuz you are packing but you also have to attend your first ever funeral a few days later.

It kinda ruins the holiday for ya...

i've had bad halloween experiences as a kid, mainly all the presure of what to dress like...i could never choose, so i was always ashamed of what i was and hated having to tricker treating with my family and not my friends...

It's a rather silly holiday. But it's fun to dress up.

    that sucks...
no one celebrates halloween in france, but my bro and a friend insisted on going outside at night to light fireworks[IMG], but my bro, only 13 years old, had drunk 5 bottles of beer ( with 5% volume of alcool) ... and wanted to talk to some crazy hobo, which was fine but at each time the hobo was going to leave, he called him back. after 2 hours of talking with the hobo and nearly entering a weird looking bar with him, me and my friend managed to drag my bro back home. so that was kind of shitty

I love any excuse to dress up... unfortunately it's barely celebrated over here, so I don't really go around all day in some costume or other... but costuming is great. I don't care for the parties where everyone gets drunk and only went trick-or-treating when I lived in the US...

  16. 5% by weight or by volume?

I loved Halloween when I was a kid. I never went trick-or-treating in high school, though. I had some cool costumes back in the day, too. When I was pretty young (kindergarten - 2nd grade), my mom used to sew my costumes; they were great. I remember I was a bat with these cool wings, and then I was a lobster to accompany my sister as a mermaid. :D I had this really cool alien mask, too, at one point, and when I'd go to houses to get candy, I'd always get compliments on it. :D Yeah, my costumes rocked. :H

And I always seemed to get poisonous candy... just another reason why I hate Halloween. :D :(
