Well? Hey, I have my reasons. When I was 9, I got a 'B' on a social studies test, so my parents wouldn't let me go out for Halloween. That was a significant turning point in my life. And as of right now, I'm at the college's library. When I drive home tonight, I have a stange feeling that I'll somehow run over a bunch of clique-y high school freshmen who forgot to put reflective tape on their costumes.
i more or less just enjoyed the hanging out at my friends house, and used Halloween as an excuse to do that---i never went haloweening in high school though, seemed kinda creepy to me
Anyway, a lot of high schoolers do it in my area. They usually drive from house to house because they're too lazy to walk.
losers... i would run em over too yeah, thats what my dad always called it. i normally use "trick-or-treating" but halloweening is so much more fun to say
I scare the hell out of too olde halloweenies...... it's amazing what some duct tape, athmosphere a cloth dummy and a tree can do
You think thats bad? Try being in school in 6th grade planning on what you're gonna do that nite for Halloween with all your friends n being called to the counselors office to be told that your Grandma died a few hours earlier. Not only do you not get to go trick-or-treating later that nite with your friends cuz you are packing but you also have to attend your first ever funeral a few days later. It kinda ruins the holiday for ya...
thats terrible heather...sorry that happened i've had bad halloween experiences as a kid, mainly all the presure of what to dress like...i could never choose, so i was always ashamed of what i was and hated having to tricker treating with my family and not my friends...
Yeah, me too mayn. My parents thought i was too young to go out with my friends so I would always have to go with my dad. and i also had the problem of figuring out what to be every year and i always ended up bein somethin retarded. yeah...halloween just sux...
i usaully like the holiday but today was just boring. but i was in a crown of people and someone threw a rock through a window and then we ran like 10 ft and stopped it was so odd.
my christmas was fucked up a few years ago by my cat dying..... emily was my first cat ever, she had some harder old years because our dog was an idiot she died of cancer
that sucks... no one celebrates halloween in france, but my bro and a friend insisted on going outside at night to light fireworks, but my bro, only 13 years old, had drunk 5 bottles of beer ( with 5% volume of alcool) ... and wanted to talk to some crazy hobo, which was fine but at each time the hobo was going to leave, he called him back. after 2 hours of talking with the hobo and nearly entering a weird looking bar with him, me and my friend managed to drag my bro back home. so that was kind of shitty
I love any excuse to dress up... unfortunately it's barely celebrated over here, so I don't really go around all day in some costume or other... but costuming is great. I don't care for the parties where everyone gets drunk and only went trick-or-treating when I lived in the US...
I loved Halloween when I was a kid. I never went trick-or-treating in high school, though. I had some cool costumes back in the day, too. When I was pretty young (kindergarten - 2nd grade), my mom used to sew my costumes; they were great. I remember I was a bat with these cool wings, and then I was a lobster to accompany my sister as a mermaid. I had this really cool alien mask, too, at one point, and when I'd go to houses to get candy, I'd always get compliments on it. Yeah, my costumes rocked. :H
