Anybody going/been to Smilefest?

Just wondering if there would be any good hookups on, uh, yeah, stuff this year.

I'm thinking about going. My gas tank is full at the moment, which is good, but I only have $32. So, I guess, if I go, it will be one of those exciting last minute things.

 

Heh, this thing's going on about 20 minutes from my house. Might have to show up with some L and make a few bucks.

 

I have a few bucks, but I might be starting a new job which would impede my going. I was just wondering if I'd be able to get away from reality if I went. They say there's always narc's and cops everywhere, and something about the undercovers dressing upo in tie dye, but they all where fanny packs or something.

 

It's much more layed back than Merlefest...you're right about the fannypacks and tie-dyed shirts; but there's really not many of them. During Merlefest the entire police force is pretty much stationed at the event.

It's pretty far away from civlization, out in the countryside. Dunno if I'm going to go, though...I'll have to see if I'm going to be able to get the week off work.
