Import Outlet is an arts and crafts store in my area. It is usually a cool place to go, and people their are usually nice.

Tonight however, I went in there, and about 5 minutes after I arrived, some old bitch says "We can't have you in here barefoot!!!" I said "Ahhh, no way." She replies "No, I'm serious... You are going to have to leave!"

This is the first time I have gone anywhere barefoot, and been asked to leave. I have been to that store dozens and dozens of times barefoot, I don't see how today was any different.

Normally I wouldn't mind, because I respect peoples rules, but there isn't any sign on the door that says anything about barefeet. They do have a sign that says they reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, but if the feet bother them so much, they should be specific about that rule. What pissed me off the most, was that this lady was totally rude. Very uncalled for. She could have said can you put some shoes on? or next time you come in, you'll need shoes. But instead, she freaked out, and got all uppity on me. Too much coffee, and not enough sex, I am assuming.

Oh well, see if I ever go back there.

i don't understand what her problem was, she could have been nicer about it, i would probably give the place another chance, but if it happens again i would stop going there.

I would assume this is a small privately owned business, not the kind of operation that could afford to turn away customers.

What's more important, your money or what's on or not on your feet??? I would have said" Oh I was planning to spend some fair amount of money here, your loss".
