help please for LSD

He's not saying there aren't alternative syntheses for LSD, he's says it's not a replacement for all other syntheses.

 

So how closely will the DEA start watching those exotic coupling reagents, then? How much of this stuff to chem suppliers sell? Are these compounds in wide laboratory use?

A question for moonlight or one of the other "real chemists" here:

How useful would such a synthesis be to a "wannabe Owsley" anyway?. Unless you have access to places like Sigma, Acros, Aldrich, etc., the fancy new procedure looks essentially impossible. You aren't exactly gonna find an OTC source for something like PyBOP (Benzotriazol-1-yl-oxytripyrrolidinophosphonium hexafluorophosphate), right?

Makes hydrazine (rocket fuel) or POCl3 (nerve gas precursor) still look awfully tempting...

That recipe will NOT produce LSD (No matter HOW MANY TIMES people post it!).

It will produce a crude mixture of alkaloids, NONE OF WHICH are LSD.

Producing LSD is going to involve a lot more than a simple MG seed extraction.

This thread is hysterical. Yes, LSD is doable if you have the proper chems/equipment/knowledge, but yes, it is also quite difficult compared to other drugs. I just don't understand why everyone's panties got in such a bunch of this silly shit. Not to mention the fact that the creator of this thread is apparently nowhere to be found now that there's real discussion of this topic.

 

For a chemist with the right knowladge it is not too hard, but if you don't understand organic chem, you have no hope.

stuff with ground glass joints for doing reactions in is all I know about the stuff you need. The process is just purification after reaction after purification after reaction after purification all of which require a lab to have any success, and the final product can't entirely be isolated from isoLSD and the other analogs made by the reaction of diethylamide and lysergic acid. I remember hearing pure LSD doesn't exist still. Almost all street stuff is bound to have some of these Iso-lysergamides.

 

I would just let the GDF and Rainbow Family make LSD and buy it from the heady kids in the lot you stupid custie.
