    I still like Columbo though..even if it is not as 'smart' as SH... still darn good.

    Wow, you have a Vulcan master as your avatar! And I love Sherlock Holmes too, I have the complete short stories by my bed, and I always read one or two when I can't get to sleep.

    His complete works? I didn't think he'd written many, being a fictional character and all. Of course, there was his Practical Handbook on Bee Keeping and his essay on the Polyphonic Motets of Lassus.

    jer, you should read the purloined letter by poe.....doyle was really influenced by it when writing sherlock holmes.
