She has never been able to - she opens her mouth but only a little squeak comes out - apart from when she goes to the vet's then she scream's - i think she doesnt meow cause it's cute lol.
They are the best - but one of mine the one that doesn't meow is like the top cat - she is so spoilt and everything else in the house is scared of her lol - she's only tiny she weighs 6 lb and is so small even the dog is scared of her lol
I love my cats especially her - she is asleep at the moment in a box on my bed!! she really wierd though she dribbles all over me and bites me, scratches me when she's pissed off. Cats are the best
I have also had cats that couldn't do much more than squeak! I had a mother cat, who gave birth(alot) and we kept a kitten out of one of her last batches. She was a quiet meower since she was tiny, then, as she grew up, the meow disappeared altogether. When she started having kittens, she developed this purring meow so she could communicate with her kittens. And some of them also had minimal to no meows. We have one of her boys now, Sticker, and he has a pretty shaky meow .
I have a cat that doesn't meow... He sqeaks, lol. His name is Dutchie (we call him Squeaker sometimes for obvious reasons), and he is an interesting fellow. He used to be named Dutchess until we found out that he was a Duke, but since we already had a Duke (his brother), we tried calling his Prince. That didn't stick, so we just continued to call him Dutch... He's been gay from square one, but sometimes I wonder if the gender confusion had something to do with it.
i think my cat is gay too hes so feminine and foo foo-ish.....he's a pretty boy too. he even walks like a women! he crosses his feet in front of one another and his little butt swivels back and forth. we call him the "miami gay" because im from miami and his attitute and swager remind me alot of the gay men down there.
We call one of our cats john sometimes cause he walks like john wayne lol. I never thought a cat could be gay and am pleased other peoples are as well lol
That's amazing. Our cat "Skittles" doesn't meow either. She barks. Maybe it's because she and "Jax" are so close and Jax doesn't know what he is.
They say is you can't really hear the cat's meow or it's a very short squeak then it is too high for humans to hear. For example we can't hear dog whistles. When we first got our kitten she would just open her mouth and nothing would come out until she got to be a little older.
