I like tax cuts too but I like to see them done responsibly. The debt that is being run up due to overspending and tax cuts is staggering. It's like going on a shopping spree with your credit card just after you lost your job.

It's seems great now but we'll pay for it with high interest rates and a recession a few years down the road. Bush has acted irresponsibly about this. It's unusual for the Republicans to do this when they have traditionally called for balanced budgets. Most economists have warned about this problem. The same thing happened at the end of the 80s after Reagan and the Congress ran up the debt with military spending and tax cuts.

One reason for him to be re-elected, would be so that all these angry bush haters would still be incited, instead of being pacified by Kerry. Kerry won't change a goddamn thing, and it's worthless as to whoever wins. might as well be bush so that people will still be interested in activists. who knows, maybe another youth uprising will take place.

The grass-roots type people like Dean and non-conformist types like McCain have a way of getting weeded out by the national commitees, while DC establishment figures like Kerry end up getting the nomination.

Joe Liberman would be a good president, he seems more moderate to me than anyone else.

He would also pander straight to Israel, and although I am not racist, the muslim world would be INCITED if a jewish person were elected president. It would probably be enough to turn them against us completely.

So be it, we should just cut all of our support to them anyway, let those heathen racists starve.

One thing is for sure --- Things are going very very well when liberals start to worry about the national debt, and the need to cut government spending.

If President Bush is at all responsible for that, why that alone would be reason for his re-election.

You must be fucking rich. Bear and I are middle class, and apart from the attempted bribe child rebate, we haven't seen any better tax situation. I am sorry, a wad like Bush can't buy my vote for a couple of hundred dollars for each kid I had (oh and they left one kid out, because with FOUR children, we maxed out on the rebate!)

1. Tax cuts (I'm middle class and I definitely benefited from them)
2. He actually takes a stand on issues. (Unlike Kerry)
3. He's honest. (Well, just about as much as a politician will ever get)
4. He's tough on our enemies. Kerry wants to negotiate with them. (Which doesn't work)
5. He has class.

Some Key Conservatives Uneasy About Bush

By SCOTT LINDLAW, Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON - When an influential group of conservatives gathers in downtown Washington each week, they often get a political pep talk from a senior Bush administration official or campaign aide. They don't expect a fellow Republican to deliver a blistering critique of President Bush (news - web sites)'s handling of the Iraq (news - web sites) war.

1. Tax cuts are almost always a good idea, except when you spending more money. Bush economic policy is childishly simplistic, and inefective.

2. The right and the left in this country have pretty much merged on all key issues, and the issues bush actually does differ from Kerry I disagree with, gay marrige, stem cell research, etc...

3. Ah ha ha ha, now I'm not going to argue with this one, if you can't see through the web of lies the white house is spinning, I see no use arguing with that.

4. When has John Kerry ever even hinted that he negotiate with our 'enemies'? he has said time and time again "we will not negotiate with terroists." Bush is still playing buddy buddy with the real terror threat, The Saudi's.

5. Uh, he can't pronounce nuclear.

1. It's not childish. We have money left over.

2. Kerry's switched a few times in the past year about gay marrige... so how would you know what his stand is? lol [IMG]

3. If you cream yourself over conspiracy theories, then I agree-- theres no need to argue over this one.

4. He's a liberal, of course he's going to negotiate. His senate record for voting against the military goes to show that he thinks we shouldn't have a strong army to defend ourselves.

5. What the hell? How typical of a liberal to not even know what class means. lol

Take nothing I say personally man, you'll live longer and happier. [IMG]

Riiiight... so explain to us uncultured liberals what Bush's sense of "class" exactly is... does that include choking on pretzels, announcing "Bring it on" as a response to threats, and having such horrible diction that entire websites and an entire mini-industry (calendars, joke books) has been founded on archiving his bemusing quotes?

"Kerry voted in 96 for a huge cut in military funding, so no i don't trust him with our army."

First off, one of the reasons for voting against this funding was because the Pentagon came back asking for exponentially MORE than was asked for in the bill to begin with, with little to no explanation. Should we give the Pentagon EVERYTHING they want, without explanation?

Spending without Representation = Taxation without Representation.

Second...guess who voted the exact same way?

Vice President Dick Cheney.

Heres another little fact-this is the first time that a president has cut taxes in a time of war. In every other war, the taxes have been increased to support the war effort....kinda makes you wonder, or at least it should.

Hah, don't get me wrong. its good to have some conservatives diversity on here... If conservatives know what diversity means... cough.

1. Deficit plus tax cuts plus increased spending equals bigger deficit. Schmee.

2.Kerrys changed his position? Its seemed consistantly lackluster, let the states decide. Its not a very important issue to me either, so eh.

3. agreed. But whats with conservatives not respecting what i like to cream myslef over...

4. Oh comeon... negotiate... Just because Kerry voted aginst a few bills that had supplemnents to our troops in them doesn't mean he doesn't support them. in the 2000 republican primaries Bush defeated McCain in New York using an ad that said (because McCain had voted aginst some pork laden bill that had some funding for breast cancer in it) that John McCain was soft on breast cancer.

5. Okay, I will admit bush looks better in a tux. ;)

This whole election is making me feel dirty supporting kerry... I hate democrats.

hah, same here dont take anything I say to seriously. Don't get me wrong, you seem kinda cool, but Your just someone on an internet message board. Thats only a step above being imaginary. :H

In other words, anyone who doesn't like blacks and other minorities, and loves the KKK and skin heads gets your vote.
