In the Times, a reviewer commented on a Muse show and then said, "Yes, Muse are good - They're going to be the new Darkness" WHAT?!!!! No Way!! The Darkness are one of the most unoriginal and annoying bands i've ever come across, and besides, Muse were playing for TEN YEARS before they ever got signed in 1999. Thats originality and stickability, something the Darkness will never find... they'll be gone in a year... Jaz
Jaz who was the one who baught the Darkness dvd .. and incouraged me to do the same *cough cough* But for any one to compare Muse to The Darkness and suggest that The Darkness is in the same league as Muse is really rather stupieed! I think people today need to get their ears tested... Muse far better then The Darkness....
Unfair fight. Take away Muse's pyro and Matt Bellemy's laser guitar, as well as barrage of effects, put Justin Hawkins in normal clothes and put an octave lowering pedal onto his voice, and that might make it a bit more even.
Thats like comparing my left foot with will youngs face.. humm I know what Id like to do with my left foot and Will youngs face *chuckles*
WHAT? Muse were around long before The Darkness anyway. Fuck, I think my desire to be a music critic has just been confirmed...need some reviewers who actually know what they're talking about. The Darkness were a novelty. At the time, I loved them. Now, I'm sick fo them to be honest. Muse are pure musical genius! They have created a new original way of composition, and its fantastic. Their live show was awesome...I thought The Darkness were good (saw them twice last year)...but Muse...wow...that's a whole other level! Oh dear, since Glasto it would appear I am Muse obsessed :&
I love Muse! I can take or leave the darkness, but that Justin needs to be taken down a peg or two! Frigging muppet in lycra! I think Muse deserve to be a bigger band than they are. (So should Starsailor!) I loved when Muse did 'Feeling Good'. Sent shivers down my spine!
Yeah i did then, but at that point, I think the whole of England was caught up in Darkness mania. I kinda went off them, i mean, even Justin Hawkins must get tired of singing "I believe in a thing called love!" over and over again, it's not even that interesting really, it was cool to listen to when it first came out, but, not now. I saw them do it at the BRIT awards and it seemed kinda tired ya know? Jaz
haha thats great, don't you think throwing a bottle would make them feel real bad though? would you like it? jaz
