I Found The Place Where My Parents Hid My Stuff!

I'm home alone now cause im sick, and ive got very little to do (except fucking school make-up work) so i decided to try and find the box of stuff (bong, 1/8th, zippo, stashbox) that my parents took from me last week. I searched the whole 2nd floor, before I finally decided to look in the place I thought from day one they would hide it, the attic. so i get a chair so i can reach the latch to the attic. I open the hatch thing and remove a pillow which for some reason is blocking the opening and I CAN SEE THE RED AND WHITE BOX RIGHT THERE!!

the thing is, I'm not sure what or what not to take from the box. tragically, I dont think i can take my bong back, because if they find it again theyll slaughter me. Also, if they ever were to check the box, theyd surely notice the missing weed.

so which peices of my property should i take back?

 

i'd say take a little of the pot out and ditch the rest, accept your losses and move on

i might want to add two things:
1. the weed wasnt mine it was a friends
2. the zippo was my only source of flame

 

unless your parents smoke, they wont know the difference between an 8th and 2 grams

-It's NOT your property. As long as you are a minor, living at home, everything on the prop. belongs to them. They have every right to take 'your' dope (which you prob. bought with $ they gave you).

Ask for the stuff back when you've over 18 and get your own place.

 

absolutely not. I don't care what you or the law says about property, everything in the box, minus the weed, belonged to me. Im thinking im taking back the zippo, some of the weed, and maybe the stashbox which was a video game case.

 

I'd say fuck 'em and take everything. It's not like they'd look up there everyday to see if it's there. Just be like "yeah i took it, theres nothing you can do!" and just hide it away for yourself. If you have a PC in your room, then you can hide it all inside the tower's case and shit (yes it takes time to take it out and put it back, but COME ON! IT'S WEED!)
So yeah, just punk it all and hide it from them.

 

I would just take it all. It's very unlikely that they would check in the attic to see if it's still there. Even if they do check, it's your shit. You need to at least get the sack back to your friend. If the sack is all you take back and they find out, just tell them that you had an obligation to return the weed to your friend.

 

for now, i took back the zippo and like 1/4 of the weed. I love that bong though. maybe Ill take it in a couple days. From then on, its making goddamn sure they never see that bong again. If they did, they'd definately smash it and I can't let poor Blitzey die.

 

I'd take some of the weed and give it back to your friend and leave everything else including whatever weed you don't give back. Chalk it up as a life lesson. While you could very well take it all (including the box, lighter, etc), it would be a foolish choice. Eventually they will notice it is gone and odds are it'll be before they give it back or you move out. When that happens, they'll most likely be uber-pissed. If you leave it there, one day your parents will most likely let you have it all back. Better to wait for it than rush it and make matters worse. Although you could leave the entirety of the weed and tell your friend that your parents found it and confiscated it. His loss for leaving it with you.

 

ranger is right, until your 18 and on your own, whats yours is theirs and whats theirs is theirs. but then again i also agree with twizz.


obviously they werent too upset about it, they would have trashed all the stuff asap. i say take it all back and hide it really really well(not on their property if u can) and be like oh well whatever it was my friends shit so i gave it back to him.

 

You're home alone, just take all of it, go to your room and toke a fat bowl then put it all back. Disobeying your parents isnt going to do anything but get you into deeper shit. If you keep fucking up, your parents are probably just going to start drug testing you, they're not just going to say "oh well, we cant stop you so we'll just let you smoke". Accept your loses, wait until all of this blows over and start smoking again.

 

Take back some weed and thats it. Leave the zippo and pickup a bic or two, accept the bong as a loss and use it when they're not around, and leave the stashbox there so at a glance, they wont realize anything is gone.

im with stoner bill, they're not gonna know if u take two or three buds, but the rest i would just screw. plus u can check periodically to see if they ever get around to smoking it in secret, and then u got em.

 

where the shit do u live? man they sell lighters to anyone at walgreen or anyplace. just try it.

 

i dont think ive ever paid for a lighter... ive always stolen them... anyways id take a gram out.. and thats it... i would feel so guilty if i took it all back... just take some bud and leave the rest how u found it.. if they diddnt plan on giving it back to u someday, why would they of kept it?!?!?!?! my mom once found some of my weed and flushed it. just relax.. or since ur home when there not.. u can smoke up w/ ur bong and some weed. and when your done put everything back to how it was.

 

Yeah, lighters aren't that hard to come by, man. I say, leave all of it, and hopefully your parents won't do anything to it. Even with the whole "they own everything on their property" most parents still do respect their children's stuff. That is to say, they don't just walk into your room and take whatever they want, not at your age. So, they probably won't destroy your stuff, but they also probably won't let you have it back any time soon. The bong will likely be safe (unless your parents are drug nazis).

I want to say take the weed and give it to your friend, but if they look and see the weed (the main thing they're concerned about) is gone, there's gonna be hell to pay. Just take it as a loss (at least for now) and move on. At least it was only an eighth, and a bong (which I bet you'll get back someday, at least when you move out, or if your parents come around and let you smoke. Hard to say since I don't know your situation).

They will start asking "Which friend?" and if you don't say, then they'll talk to all your friend's parents and say that one of their kids are smoking Marijuana!!!!
