I already decided to take a holiday from hip-forums for a while, but I must post this, cuz it’s so disgusting and it’s kinda therapy to me.

I was sitting on a café with a handful of my friends in central Aalborg all saturday evening. I decided to walk home before one o’clock, and on my way I found a very miserable lady sitting on a doorstep in central Aalborg.

She was an inuit lady, in the age 40-45, and she was very drunk. She would freeze if I didn’t help her, so I asked her if I shouldn’t order a cab to "Sømandshjemmet” (“Sailors home” which is a shelter for homeless in Aalborg), but she refused and said that she’d prefer to be followed to the central station, cuz there was a train going to the suburb where she’s living.

The central station was just four blocks away, but it took me more than half an hour to follow her, since she was so drunk that she could hardly stand on her feets. I had to carry her, more or less, all the way.

To my surprise the central station was all closed as we finally arrived. I didn’t know what to do. Then I called all taxi companies, but they were all occupied, cuz it’s saturday and all people are in town. I was hoping a cab to pick her up, and bring her to Sømandshjemmet or any other shelter in town. Then I called the cops, to ask them to take her to Sømandshjemmet.

The woman was afraid of the cops, but I said to her that it was my only choice. And I promised her that the cops wouldn’t take her to the station. When the cops finally arrived, they just scorned her. They said that it was her own problem that she was drunk and poor. I pleased them to drive her to Sømandshjemmet (that would take them less than 10 minutes) and I asked them to take 30 euro for doing that. But they just laughed at her in a very cynical way, and left again.

I didn’t know what to do. But then I saw that the lady (let’s name her lily – I don’t wanna tell her real name) had blood on both hands. I didn’t understand why she was suddenly bleeding, but maybe it was a wound from earlier that suddenly leaked. Soon her hands were bathed in blood, and her jacket was colored red of blood. And then I found out that Lily had an enormous open leaked wound in her forehead. Luckily two girls with napkins were standing near the place, and all three of us was trying to stop the blood.

Then we called 112 once again – not for the cops this time, but for an ambulance. Luckily they arrived fast, and luckily they cared, in difference to the shitty police. They took Lily to the hospital.

Chocked, on my way home I was thinking if Lily was actually lucky, bleeding? Otherwise she had to stay outside the central station, freezing. At least she’s having a warm bed at the hospital.

But I knew my most important lesson: never trust the police. They are the true enemy of the people.

On my way home, I saw & heard two police cars with noisy sirenes - IUIUIUIUIUIUIOOOHH - driving at least 120 km/hour on the road up the hill. I guessed that some nice people probably had complained over some drunk inuits making too much noise.

Because the police is always eager to maintain the social order. But when people really need help (especially those who are not white and not rich), they never give a fuck.

    Love and understanding,

    =wolf=

The police really do suck... I could've told you that, they don't care about the people... Hell a police man almost beat my friend up for being drunk (as in he didn't really comply to what he was telling him)... We only stopped him cause we took his staff and gun

But I'm glad you walked by, and I'm sure she is too :) You're a good person wolf... Keep it up, there aren't many left

And anjee, I bet the police doesn't like your hair either!?

my hair? well, actually i tie it back, then i look "normal". but i had problems with the cops last summer, too. while demonstrating peacefully for some university crap they went absolutely crazy and started to hunt students. well, they got me without any reason, but i told them to piss off and leave me or else i will call my lawyer and then they left me. ;) but i saw policemen in my dreams for weeks and weeks. :(

Oh yeah and about the hair... most of our police has a pretty tight "dress code" so if you dress like a hippy or just have dreads, you've def. done something wrong

i also made bad experiences with the police while demonstrating or because of my "hippie-bus". that`s a very sad topic. but - i also met policemen who`s aim were to help people and they had been very friendly and helpfully. i think we shouldn`t do it like intolerant one`s and say: all policemen are the same, should we?

btw wolf: more people should have your courage!

there are a lot of good people in police, but, unfortunatelly, police as organization is bad universally.

btw i worked in private security and had daily encounters with police. the day i kicked that job... one of the happiest in my life

You're all good people. You're good, real people. I'm glad to know you. Thanks.

And I'm glad that I could manage to kick some debate over all these kinds of frustrations that we all recognize every single day.

And btw - I've got no courage - zeljko-h got courage to quit his former job. I bring my deepest sympathy. Good style - all my respect to that, honestly...

    love and understanding,

:-D (you have included too many images.. blablabla...)
