skipping school

for some reason, i skip school allmost every day, its not that i dont want to go to school, its just that like, i allways try to find an excuse to stay home, and i just dont go, for weeks on end. its really early in the school year still so i still have a chance of passing but i allways seem to do this, its like i physically cant get my ass out of bed and get to school...probably lazyness..i dont know....






yes i know this isnt at all related to pot in any way, i just had to get this off my chest.

im a junior acually, and ya, i should just do it. its gotten to the point where my mom has even given up on me, shes threatened to get cops involved tho. its gotten so blown out of porportion and fucked up that i should just bite the fuckin bullet and just do it.

 

Dude, right now I am a freshman at Florida State University only by the grace of god. I am fairly bright considering I finished all of my required college English my Junior year of high school. For my senior year, just like you, I decided to just not go. I started skipping classes after I was accepted to FSU, so I thought I could just dick around senior year and I'd still go to college. Big mistake. Long story short, I got kicked out of and accepted to FSU 3 times before fall semester even started. The only reason they let me back in is because I made straight A's (literally) over the summer and spent hours on the phone with different admissions and undergraduate administrators. Dude, I know it sounds really parent-like, but you will seriously fuck up your future if you don't go to school senior year. Even if you don't want to go to college, at least graduate from high school. You don't even have to do much at school, just go. Sorry I wrote so much, but I really don't want anyone to have to go through all the uncertainty I went through last year.

 

it fucking sucks, but its something you gotta do.

and you sure as hell dont want the cops, or anyone else involved.

plus: being a junior is alot better than being a freshman

i hear about ppl skippin school over there.. fuck i miss less than 10 days a year.. you get in shit if you dont go to school and your parents dont consent.. and especially considering youre 17, and youre a junior? doesnt that mean youve repeated like 3 times?

senior= 12th grade
junior = 11th grade
sophmore = 10th grade
freshman = 9th grade

i guess i pissed around heaps in junior.. though most in sophmore.. cept i started smokin in junior... but never waggin weeks off.. fuck

 

I was like that to, Grade 9, 10 and 11 But i just got expelled from school and they coudent even prove why they kicked me out cus i had nothing.

 

thats crazy man. yeah at least show up and pay attention some. haha good to know theres someone more outrageously lazy than me.

Bite what fucking bullet? If you don't understand the point of school, it's just the same as a job. You don't make money directly from school, but every credit you get is probably going to get you $2000 each year on whatever job you have. SO, say you have a job 10 years from graduation. If you have all 32 credits (what I need) then you'd be making $64,000 a year from just schooling. With that money, you can buy all the weed you want. Yeah school sucks, but it's worth the weed!

 

wow, missing school weeks at a time...thats just stupid and lazy. high school is not that hard to pass. and i don't see how you think you can still have passing grades when you miss so much school. why not just get your GED if you don't want to go to school anymore, it'll be better than wasting taxpayer money and the teachers time they would (or would have) spent on you.

^^and what type of logic is that? thats like me in 10 years, after graduating with 130+ credits and then just because i have those credits i'll make over $260k a year...thats rubbish...

 

just get up and go. skipping weeks and weeks is gunna fuck you over big time. I didnt miss any school last year(I'm a loser, i know). If you feel you literally just can't snap out of your sleep, smoke around 6 so around 8 ur stoned and can fall right asleep. in the morning have an alarm clock somewhere where u have to get up to turn it off. Taking a shower is awesome for waking up too...

 

just get ur highschool deploma, u cant get a decent job in the states w/ a GED... if your not going to go to colelge at least get a highschool diploma in 4 years...

 

weeks at a time! u should at least try to go once a week that way you can catch up a little bit, if you miss too much you wont understand anything at all. I know how u feel though i missed my first class all week because i cant wake up and i know i'll have to do a shitload of work if i want to understand whats going on. its hard to actually get to school, but once your there its not as bad as it seems when your just waking up. so suffer a bit in the morning and get into a routine.. only 2 more years to go.

 

^ yah i tottaly agree im tardy probbly 4 out of 5 days a week to first hour.. but only bya couple minutes... and school is pretty easy, i havnt done homework this entire year.. and still am getting passing grades.. except for gym.. i think im gonna fail it for the 2nd year in a row... ima senior to so it sucks...

^Same question... only way to do it at my school is to refuse to participate(same thing as not go to class), or not have gym clothes, which is basically not participating.

 

uhhh my teacher is a crazy sexest bitch... i have ehr first hour.. for 1 thing im tardy to her class almost everyday, and i dont have gym shorts so i wear buddys of ming and she gives me Zeroes for the day, basicly means i get abn F for the day because i dont got shorts and im wearing a buddys... even if mi partciipating and such i get an F... its pretty bogus.. i thought the point of gynm is to stay active and fit, and to learn who knows what.. but failing because im not properly uniformed is juist bogus... my 5th hour gym teacher is the shit though hes liek 27 and lets us listen to hendrix,beatles, anything, i have adventure gym w/ him in the gymnastics room.. its dope he lets us swing on ropes and shit and the floor is all springed out.. we bust out the cd player and just climb the walls and shit and my teacher is mellow as fuck.. he doesnt care if u come to class w/ someones elses cloths or w/e long as were there and participating i mean honestkly hes more lienent and cool.. but teh bicth first hour is fucked up... some girl slapped my ass in my class, so i slapped her ass back and i got sent to 105 and they called my mom and all this bogus shit for sexual harassment.. it was so embareessing and humiliating to have them call my mom and get detendtions for that shit..the girl even said it was cool and all. lots of shit happens in 1st hour is why im getting zeros and probbly failing... school has the most bogus rules also..
