I am offering all the non believers who demand proof of the existance of god, exactly that, proof that god exists. the only stipulation is you have to want to believe that he exists...if you truly want to believe and see that god exists I will tell you how it can be done....
by the way this is coming from a former nonbeliever...I used to deny the existence of anything that wasn't scientifically valid....but i've changed my mind

so if you truly and honestly want to experience the divine, I'll tell you how it can be done

Some people want to believe the earth is flat. And they do.

    I'm agnostic and apathetic. I don't know and I don't care.

That's almost like Libertine, the militant atheist, who doesn't believe in God, AND NEITHER DO YOU *pokes Libertine* GRIN

freaker makes the big point here. "i can prove it to you, but you have to want to believe first..."

what?? that's absurd! the truth is the truth regardless of what we want it to be. it is often said that in order to get a person to believe something lacking in logic, you must pander to their emotions. we do many irrational things for our 'feelings'. "he hits me, but i love him," "i'm on a diet, but i'm feeling depressed," "i would move out, but i'm afraid,"

    i don't remember where i read this,
"the pastor's wife was proofreading her husband's sermon on saturday; as she came to a weak point, she scribbled beside the paragraph 'weak point - shout loud'."

    lol..

if i want to believe in something irrational, and i throw away my logic and reason and believe because i want to 'feel' good about god and not 'feel' lonely and confused and 'feel' powerful in my false knowledge then yes, i will end up believing in anything that provides these things.

sorry if this didn't make sense this morning, i had a little bake with my coffee..

    love, :p
