Hello, I am trying to find out much more about Celtic Paganism. If anyone could send any links to websites, or some good books to check out it would be greatly appreciated. I am very interested in this and any information would help greatly. Take Care, Aaron
Try here: Beliefnet This link will take you to a reconstructionist board. That is to say, a group of folks who research what the actual practices and beliefs of the Celts were, and attempt to reconstruct a religion as closely following the old ways as possible. If you want authenticity, that's the way to go. Good Luck.
The one I posted was a reconstructionist group too, figured it was best to avoid all that new agey crap.
Heh, cool. I'll have to check it out. I try to avoid the "new agey crap"(lol) as much as possible. It was pretty cool when I was 16 and wanted to rebel against something, but I'm past that now.....
My journal has some of my musings in it, of Celtic/Germanic Indo-European origins, and their mythology. I dont know any websites, but send me a PM, i will try to do my ancestors justice. Hope you dont want "celtic wicca", i might laugh more than I advise lol.
C'mon, Heron. Wicca is the most ancient of ancient religions. It predates all others, and is the root of all major religions. Don't make fun of it....
