Hello everyone. I just registered and this is my first post. I will be going to Amsterdam for the second time this December and I'll be spending the New Years Eve there. On my last visit I noticed, that it is rather difficult to find raves and decent parties, without previously looking into the locations. Most of the clubs in the center seemed a bit a boring and held back, so I was wondering where could I find some wild party places? Mostly looking for raves, with psy-trance and major light shows and also any other wild party locations. And if anybody has any information about decent New Years Parties, or good clubs to attend at that time, I'd be very thankful. How is the Adam New Year anyway? Also, what is the situation with drugs like extacy and acid? I've read from a few internet publications, that at least extacy should be widely available in many clubs, so how should one approact purchasing some in there? Last time I visited, the only e's available were by the street dealers, which I of course did not waste my money purchasing. I've taken e's on several occasions in my own country, but unfortunately they are of a terrible quality here, so I'd like to find some decent once in Amsterdam. Sorry, if some of the questions have been asked a million times, but I at least didn't find any decent responses after searching the forums. Thanks.
This would be great to know, because I have question this before. Im thinking that if you want acid and psytrance then party in england! UK is renound for having amazing psytrance partys and there will definatly be someone selling acid at a big party. Which big party I dont know, but if you find one out let us know p.l.u.r
There's meant to be a great psy-trance type trippy club in london called Whirl-Y-Gig. Never been but I've heard it's great. Quite a big social event, allegedly. Trippy light shows, crazy DJs...if you're under 18 you need an adult of at least 21 with you, last I heard it was a BYOB event, that might have changed though. Don't let the open ended age range put you off, hard-core ravers recommend it.
I've got Whirl-Y-Waves Vol.1, on CD, it's not trance but more ambient, etheral and very chilled lounge style vibe. Vol, 2, 3, 4, maybe more upbeat, no idea, not got them yet.
