    'MOVIN' IN ON YOU'

    by ROBERT DAVIDSON

You once tol' me jes git outta yo' hair
Said don't git so near, keep on movin'
But said don't go 'way, keep on groovin'.

    Don't wanna make you cry
    Don't wanna cramp yo' style
Give you space, jes let you breathe
All I'm wantin' is jes see yo' smile
Cos I'm not movin' in on you.

You once tol' me jes git outta yo' hair
Said don't git so near, keep on movin'
But said don't go 'way, keep on groovin'.

    Not gunna fence you in
    Not gunna crowd you out
Give you chance jes spread yo' wings.
Well, reckon you figure what I'm about
But I'm not movin' in on you.

You once tol' me jes git outta yo' hair
Said don't git so near, keep on movin'
But said don't go 'way, keep on groovin'

    Don't wanna crowd yo' space
    Don't wanna tear you 'part
Wantin' to jes cruise with you
Longin' for a bitty piece o' yo' heart.
Well, guess I'm jes movin' in on you.
