Seen this word while web surfing. Found http://employees.csbsju.edu/tcreed/pb/pavcon.html After studying this for a lil bit (and other sites), this is like the basis of our entire lives. If our emotions and reactions have been manipulated over and over again since birth, how can we see a lie if it's being painted the truth by those who we trust in power? How do we go about teaching those who defend these lies that what is most comfortable to you isn't always the correct path. I think there are many harsh realities that so many cannot and will not accept due to this types of conditioning. These are just my beginner questions and thoughts. So if you're an expert or anything, feel free to school my ass. I'm interested.
Pick up a copy of Manufacturing Consent: The Political Economy of the Mass Media by Noam Chomsky. He goes into extensive detail about how the media is used to propagandise even our supposedly "free" and "deomcratic" societies.
pretty much stop trusting anyone, no matter where they sit on the spectrum. take everything everyone says with a grain of salt. live in a constant state of "they're out to get my mind!" it's not paranoia if it's true.
Funny how the attacks were rammed into our memories and within hours "the enemy's" picture was shown over and over again. Putting the puzzle together for us so we don't have to think or uncover anything. Bitches
This was some of my favorite material to study in school. I am a behavorist and I know of this. It is a way that humans can learn fears and phobias. What is realy amazing is that it shows that our lives our 'beyond freedom and dignity', our environment has more control of who we are.
well, at the same time, those pictures were shown over and over again because people wanted to see them, couldn't get enough of them. it was exciting, whether your reaction was fear, rage or sadness, it definitely excited all your emotions and sold a lot of papers and garnered a lot of hits on the internet.
