s for my documentaryI'm thinking about making a documentary about a sort of partyhouse i go to sometimes that belongs to one of my friends. Only my voice would being in it conducting interviews and conversing with the people. also I'd get some shots of people playing music and kind of do it like the woodstock doc. any ideas? i'm going to try to film it friday when they're throwing a keg party.

Have a list of questions you would ask people in mind, or written down. Be sure to have good lighting when you're talking to people. Will you be using a camcorder, or more high end equipment?

well do you already have a "story" in mind of what you would like to convey about the party-house? i would suggest having an idea about what you want to do with the poject: prepare questions, specific scenes [like in the party, before (how long before), after (how long after) etc]...then just go with the flow and see where the wind takes you

Sounds like a good idea. At any kegger or house party people usually split up into groups. You know what I mean? Like, three people chatting on a couch...four people standing on the front porch...etc. There's mini conversations going on everywhere and you could pick up on that. Could make it interesting.

Sex and drugs would make it far more interesting.

sounds like fun! Go for it!

sounds like it could be really kewl as long as you get some really interesting things in it..if it's just a bunch of kids like getting drunk and acting like dumbasses it will be hard to pay attention too unless you like really baked..but yeah, try to work some profound interviews in w/ the daily drama of the house..that would be sweet...what about like a day in the house..from waking up to daily things, to random people dropping by to party to eveyonepassed out! that may be kewl....a day in the life sort of thing!

I have an idea too for like a documentary sort of TV show where you follow the lives of people who work in different professions.

such as one episode may bewaiters/waitress/cooks/managers
    or dental assistant/ dentist/ receptionist

i thought it would be fun to follow them around and interview at work, home and play!
