What to do?

I have a huge bag of rotten weed, and I have no idea what to do with it...

Can I make it into hash or hash oil? It's pretty stinky and it's turning brown cuz it's been in a ziploc bag for about 2 months with no air... Any ideas, or should I just throw it out?

I was thinking I could use Isopropyl alcohol and make hash oil... it might kill any bacteria.

 

It's about 3 ounces if any of you want to know...

 

how long does it usually take weed to rot???

 

I think it took this batch about 2 or 3 weeks, but I never actually cured it or anything, it's been sitting in the bag wet since I picked it.

Lol, there's a good chance it might've gone bad... Smell it, and if it smells like shit, then it's rotten... I had some bud that was rotten but I just broke it up and it smelled great, so I guess it must have been just on the verge of rotting.

 

If it were anything under a 1/2 oz I would say throw it out, but since you got 3 I would hold on to it and figure something out.

No, it's really rotten. I was thinking that I could make Hash Oil. It's still got oil in it since it's been in the bag, and all the bacteria would be wiped out from the Alcohol. Anyone else think I could do that?

 

yea dude u can make hash oil out of any part of the hemp plant except seeds. just take all your stems leaves and rotten buds and make hash oil.

 

yeah, might as well give it a shot and try the hash oil. As it is, it's basically ruined, but maybe you can get some good out of it. Don't set your heart on good results though, I think you basically lost it. Why the hell did you put uncured, wet weed in a big and leave it in a bag (probably in the dark of a drawer or something) for a few months? That's like, primo habitat for mold.

 

yer no bacteria growin but youll have fungus if it was wet.

learn from this ! 3 ounces is a lot to fuck up

however just caus its rotten shouldnt mean that tooooo much thc is gone.
step 1: dry it out. you should get it dry. however you can, just get it in a dry, maybe slightly dusty place (dust in a room acts like those silicon pouches in a packet of burrito skins or whatnot, absorbing dampness)

cut/shred/mush lol up the weed, bathe it in isop[ropyl for a day, stirring it around and stuff.

make sure you filter it all

and you can then bathe the filtered stuff in some more isopropyl and then mix the two batches together at the end.

i would definately do this. thats a fuckkkload of weed there.

though only a couple of weeks shouldnt have done that, it must have been verrry fresh weed

Yeah, I just ripped it and stuffed it in a baggie right from the stem... I had maybe 9oz in total (of just bud) and we only dried out maybe 3 oz and smoked the remaining 3 wet/somewhat dry.

Uhh we smoked 6 oz in probably a month
3 or 4 bowls 2 times a day during the week, and maybe 5 times on the weekend...

 

should I get the juicy crap out of the bag too? AND can I also use 70% Isopropyl or do I have to use 100% ISO?

 

After leaving the sack of shit for about 2 days to dry, I've decided it's not worth it. I came very close to puking a few times because of the smell. The whole 3oz just turned to a dark green pile of mush. Damn, I wish I knew how to cure weed before this happened.
