wtf guys....no offense meant towards this guy, he's probably a good guy and not trying to do anything wrong...but he only has nine posts. he's an EXTREMELY new member here. with all the emergency scheduling and busts of rc suppliers lately, i'd think people would show a little more caution. i support these things being made available to responsible users-in-the-know, however i just dont think it's a good idea to make knowledge of legitimate suppliers available to just anybody and everybody. he may not be a narc or anything, but still i dont think you should too freely share sources with anyone until you're convinced they're not only not an authority, but that they will use what they get in a sane, at least somewhat responsibile manner, and not someone likely to sell shit as fake acid or mescaline or molly or whatever and fuck people over, do things that may likely draw some negative attention to these substances. people do too much and get hurt or end up overdosing or people use rcs as fake ecstacy, mescaline, acid, whatever, and so on...these kinds of behavior are the kinds of things that draw attention to the substances themselves and get them scheduled, and that draw attention to the suppliers themselves and get them busted. while by the nature of the internet theres little we can do to stop this, there are a few things we can do if we act together to SLOW this. among them are not giving out sources to anyone you dont at least somewhat know. this includes all brand new members, and anyone who sounds in the least bit suspicious or stupid. its for the good of the psychedelic community as a whole, as well as for the good of those who would use it irresponsibly.
I agree in most points nesta, but if a newbie PMs me an internet adress, is it really too dangerous to tell him (in case I know the supplier) if it´s a reliable resource or not (he at least found the adress, so there´s imho no reason to be too restrictive...)?
There is a site where one can type in addresses they already know and read feedback. But it will not let you search for new addresses, you must type the addy in exactly. Have debated about posting it… can easily see some pros/cons to both posting and not posting the addy… The obvious pro would be to just send the new folks there and let them sort it out… Don’t know… I B
You should post it, maybe we can get rid of all these pesky "is this supplier legit?" threads. If a Fed were to already have the address, what would be the point of asking for feedback on the suppliers' reputation? It'd be a simple matter of ordering the product, and regardless of the material in question they'd already have an analogue case...
If a couple other folks agree it’s a good idea as well I will post it. I suppose the mods can take it down if they think it counts as ‘discussing sources,’ but again it does not give any info other than feedback, if you already have the address. It doesn’t actually point you to new addresses. I B
It couldnt hurt to post it, there are too many "is this supplier legit" post/threads, although I dont get any PMs about it im sure those who do must get sick of answering the same question all the time.
It's a useful site, but to the arguement that the feds can't find out about ones they don't already know: I assume they know all of them we do. If they don't know about a new one, they will soon enough. The goal should be to keep chatter down, not simply to pretend that the addresses will forever remain secret. We shouldn't discuss the url publically either though. If they're going to create a target, they're going to choose the best one. By making it obvious which one people are huges fans of, you're helping them narrow down a source to keep an eye on. Just a thought.
