I've been collecting the Our Lady Peace albums since I was a wee tot in Grade six, and I have been devout to their music. I loved it. It was their music that introduced me to everything else. It was the gateway drug.

I recently bought Gravity as, for some reason I had stopped buying them at Spiritual Machines. Also recently, I have gained more and more interest in the Spiritual Machines album and all the subtexts in it, it even lead me to read Animal Farm and 1984. (kick ass books by the way) I was discovering little things in the album that I didn't understand in Grade seven (wow it's been a while - like 5 years since I bought that) so with my OLP vigor invigorated, I set out and bought their album Gravity - I was going to get their new one to, but I didn't have enought money - because I was in hopes of something similar to their past albums (Happiness (is not a fish that you can catch), and Spiritual Machines) and there I was greatly disappointed. It's gotten too generic. They used to have meaning in their lyrics am I right?

I guess what I'm saying is that I'm greatly disappointed in this album and I almost don't want their new album. *tear*

What are your thoughts on this album?

    yes, that they do.
and listening over the CD again, I've decided that out of the 10 songs I like 3 of them so its not all bad.
