One of the musicians from this band was also playing with Devendra Banhart. Ever heard of them? Like them? I remember considering their first album on amazon a few months ago, but I bought Vetiver instead.
favourite album of 2004 the first Espers album, I'd say check it out as for Espers members other recordings Greg Weeks' solo stuff is very good also, as is Meg Baird's stuff with her sister Laura, but that Espers first album is essential not heard the new one The Weed Tree yet
i loved the espers first album...definitly worth buying i just got the weed tree today, and im really enjoying it. all covers and traditional songs except for the last song...its very good as well.
