Hey everyone, I just started my dreads the other day using the backcombing method. Here are some pics to show yall. I dont think the back is locking all that good tho. Time will tell.

ok...after a weekend of surfing Hurricane Wilma, my back dreads came out and i took out all but like 2-3 of my top ones...i will dread again sometime... the top ones were locking pretty good for 2 1/2 weeks...

mikejh3, how long did you spend back combing?

 

it was like 5 hrs... but they are out now...but i will get dreads again when me hair gets a little longer. and ill have time to keep up with them..

 

nice dude patience,, long walks on the beach and a big smile will help em alot in their early days

 

5 hours? Jeez man. How much longer do you want your hair when you do it again?

 

i dont know..ill probably get bored soon and start backcombin....i wanna wait till summer tho so i will have time to keep up (maintenance) with them...oor i mite just randomly do them again

 

I have one dread still goin tho...heres a pic (no wax, no rubbers )

 

im goin the natural/lazy way and not combin/brushing and usin bar soap... everynow and then ill circular rub them....

 

Yeah, I try to keep condoms out of my hair.
