Did you see that some countries which have fowls and birds which are infected in fowls's flu disease how are they treating and dealing with those poor fowls? In a very brutal way? Where is the mercy? They have feelings too? Why is that?

Did Peta or any other animal's rights organizations do something regarding this?? Anybody knows

i do know that the laws in america pertaining toward the humane treatment of livestock (cows/pigs) does not extend to fowl. Peta is trying to get the laws changed but i imagine that if there are no laws like that here in america i doubt there are any in China. Anyway, there is nothing "humane" about factory farming or slaughter houses even with laws in place. i imagine that if there was a public outcry about the treatment of these infected birds something in the way of change would atleast be brought up but you know, most people on earth are so afraid of contracting the bird flu that they most likely dont care how these birds are done away with they just want to see them gone. its sad really.

contaminate animals need to be put to death, and considering thatr are contaminated they can not be digested so what would you have them do with the birds? sit here in supposition? until it was your grandmother that ate an infected bird? then you would want to know why you government has done nothing about it! imma hunter and i only kill that in which i intend to eat... never have i put a trophy on my wall or determined the value of a kill by the girth of its profits however i do believe that when some endager the whole then the some must be extinguished in order to give the healthy a beeter quality of life.... btw i hunt as a protest to the meat industry!

 

I dont think she is saying that the animals shouldn't be killed its the way they kill them which is sick - they are gassing them in giant bin thing's. They could have easily rung the bird's neck when they are taking them there. And you hunt in protest of the meat industry - thats the dumbest excuse i have ever heard - so because you dont like the way the animals are pumped with chemicals for example you go out and murder something else - yeah thatmakes no sense to me. If you make your 'protest' by speaking etc. them people might know your reason's for hunting.

The way they are killing the bird's is wrong, the way thery kill any animal is wrong - i wont get onto the animal rights thing cause i will be here all day and night.

cat i understand totally what you are saying however sometimes epidemics spring up and quarantines and euthanasia is necessary what would you prefer to let nature run its course? and take however many lives with it? or isolate the problem and contain it where it is.... if it was just a matter of the birds having something it would be of no great importance to anyone but the simple fact is this paricular disease is human communicable and you and i know that when it comes to killing a taxpayer BIG BROTHER stikes swiftly! how would you suggest they exterminate the infected birds?

actually I can't suggest how? doctors or rather veterinary doctors can, I think there are another ways to kill them, but I am not just talking about how do they killing them , I am talking about how are they holding them and dealing with them before killing them, they have feelings too, it is really too sad
