How many of you are sick of hearing, in every thread, as soon as a negative vibe arises from someone, "IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, JUST LEAVE". I'm so sick of people on here who literally get ANGRY at people for having a negative opinion, and tell them they don't belong here.

This forum is in fact AN OPINION FORUM N'ES PAS??? I don't see any definition that describes an opinion as a solely postive, general, nor neutral belief. Everyone needs to get their head out of their asses, and realize that not everyone is going to have the same views as you. Instead of telling people they're not cool anymore, or to get out of here, WHY NOT BUILD SOME CONSTRUCTIVE DEBATE MATERIAL and be open to others perceptions and views. Let's grow up, and get rid of the "get out of the forums" card. For fucks sakes, aren't we supposedta be hippies.....why can't we all just get along?

Yeah, that card's played WAY too much. I've noticed that most people offer it up when they actually have nothing intelligent to add to a debate/conversation. Dear god, people think differently than me? Well, they're wrong because Im right. And since I will NOT allow any dissenting opinions, get outta my face. You gotta love the logic behind that.

Why are you being so negative??? Ha ha... just kiddin'! I do agree 100%. I think it SUCKS how some people state thier opinions by degrading others though. But, so what ya know? To each thier own.

I sense that lucyinthesky is being "negative" because to be honest, it's natural and human not to be "positive" all the time. If I keep up a happy face for a long time there comes a stage where I'm miserable and have to smash things to make up for it, like a ying yang thing. I don't know why I do it, it's just how I am. Anyway, people don't HAVE to be positive all the time just to be a hippy hmmm? is just stereotyping if you think about it.

God people piss me off....try actually reading something, and understanding it's message before replying to it. I know. I just find it amusing that the dictionary people think that if we don't know how to say the word "opinion", some scribbly thingys will be helpful.....

 

While of course everyone is entitled to their opinion...I do find it a curious thing when some one shows up just to act "holier than thou" by putting down everyone for posting in that particular thread...as in "it's no one's [f'ings]business [to care about what's in this thread]...the thread is not about them, or anything they are involved in....

It is a curious thing for them to be there just to get down on the people posting...and of course my first thought would be..."if they hate the subject matter and have nothing to add to the continuity of the thread,why come in and then get pissed 'cause others are posting????" If they have nothing to add other than jumping on others for being there then they should leave, they don't really want to be there....they want to be above everyone...

There are places I choose not to go on this forum, for many reasons...but I would never put down anyone else for being there....this is a public forum and people should not be ridiculed for posting in a thread when they want to be there...

If you hate the thread, the subject matter and think people are wrong for posting there....then leave, don't torture yourself and everyone around you.

And I'm sure your panties would be in a bunch if someone came in here right now just to say we all shouldn't be posting here and that this thread is none of our business,that people shouldn't be concerned with this...etc.... those were the comments i reacted to in the thread that made you sick.....I don't give a crap what M Jackson does...but I certainly have the right to say something about it if I choose.And I never told anyone to "get out"...

I said maybe it would be a good idea to go to another forum if they didn't think anyone should be there commenting on the thing in the first place...

And you have the right to not get involved with something that doesn't concern you, you were not interested in that thread either and inbloom can stick up for himself, so basically you came in there to put your negative 2 cents in and accuse me of things.....so who's being the "unhippy" now??

And i do assume it is that thread that started this as that is the only place you have come to in such disagreement.....then you started this one generalizing it to get support....saying its "every thread"....no its not...tell the truth.

One more thing...as you get older you may come to REALIZE that by trying to make someone feel stupid it doesn't make you look any better.

And as you grow up you may also REALIZE it hurts people when you generalize and lump them ALL together as in your original post when you say "everyone" and "every thread", now you know you're not talking about "every thread" on here.

i have no problem with people speaking their minds. if i don't like it, i can get out. lol. but it's true. if someone's response is just irritating, i stop reading it and skip it. not really a big deal. maybe it's one of those maturity things.

Me too,...It's nice to see where things can lead,it can all start out one way and end up being something so totally different.....kinda like life...my life goes off topic all the time.

 

people tend to complain most about a subject going off topic when there's a statement or opinion that they don't like. people are perfectly fine with evolving conversations until someone says something that they dont' agree with, then the response is "what does that have to do with this topic?!" any conversation restrained to a single topic is doomed to an early death and few conclusions.
