Hello from Newcastle!!!

I bet I'm the only hippy from up north on here.....

Hi folks, I'm Fagin the Pagan from the north-east of england - home to 'The Animals' and the 'Lindisfarne band'. I'm one of the only hippies up here. I know one or two others that are hidden away in different squats in the town and a few in the Northumberland communes but I feel a little lonely as I'm chased through the streets by skin heads for being a 'long haired stinking hippy tramp'. My tye dye clothes stand out against the black and white uniform that the sheep wear so I can't help but attract attention.

Because of all of this, I try to spend as much of my time else where as possible. I spend the long summers travelling the camps from Rainbow to Oak Dragon. I pay my way from field to field by teaching Shamanism, offering divination and making and selling pagan and shamanic wood craft. Hopefully I will be moving to the Gloucestershire/Somerset area next October or maybe to Talley Valley so that I can live in a way that is better suited to the way of life that I desire. I will hopefully be focalising Oak Dragon camps in the next couple of years as exciting things begin to happen on the camp scene....watch out hippies I'm shaking things up!#

Let me extend the welcome mat. I recently found “The Hip Forums” myself and I know what it’s like to be a newcomer. You don’t really know what to say or how to act. Read some of the threads so you can get the gist of what topics are being discussed. When you feel comfortable jump right in and get your feet wet. Nobody here is going to “Flame” you, that just isn’t tolerated here (unless it’s necessary) lol. We get some assholes here who just want to stir up bad vibes... From what I’ve found so far is that we are one big family with many brothers and sisters. Welcome to the site. Whereabouts do you hope to move in Somerset/Gloucestershire? I'm from Bristol, there are some idiots down here but a few hippies! At least you won't be alone!

 

im not sure whereabout i'll head, i have a lot of friends in the area so im just going to see really. all i need is a field with a good woods near by and some running water.
