Woodstock 2004

Is anyone going to the Woodstock reunion festival in August. 20-22. Tickets are only $40 and it is held at the Yasgurs farm. I have a long way to go but i will try. I think there is only one band returning and that is Country Joe, From Country Joe and the Fish.

I heard that THIS was the year the Rolling Stones were finally gonna play Woodstock

 

They werent on the line up when i saw it but who knows. That would be far out if they did.

Well to fly in I think you would have to fly to New york then drive to Bethel, it takes about two hours. Take I84 to the 17 also known as the futur I-86 to the 17b. The old farm is just off 17b. You can try the old Woodstock campground but you wont find anything like a hotel in Bethel. I hope this helps.

wish i could go.... ahhh... the pain of being young! Nobody will hire me, no money, no car, still gotta listen to the parents.... oh well.... maybe next time. It's all good here, I'll just be there mentally! yeah... in my head... with my friends....

 

that actually sounds like a cool festival. i really like some of those bands playing there... so maybe ill hit that up. should be a good time. now i just got to round up those friends of mine and motivate them to do a 5 hour drive with me...

If anyone is in the chicago area, I'm hoping to get a car pool going. Due to limited funds, it's probably the only way I could get there. I couldn't live with myself if I missed it, being that I wasn't even alive the first time around and have been dreaming of this ever since!

I'm pretty sure im gonna be attending. im coming from florida though so i have quite the plane ride/ drive. not sure how im gonna get there yet.

 

This sounds much better than the one they did in 99. How come they don't have camping there? I'm sure all the camp grounds nearby are already booked, where are people supposed to sleep. I still don't think it will be as good as Bonnaroo was this year!
